چکیده
The present paper investigated the thermodynamics and kinetics of carbothermal reduction fayalite by non-isothermal method combining with thermogravimetric analyzer applying Flynn-Wall-Ozawa (FWO) M?lek models. According to thermodynamic analysis, starting temperature direct reaction was 806.79? in standard state. indirect could not take place While volume percentage CO higher than 86 vol.% nonstandard state, range experimental temperature. Meanwhile, Boudouard promote process. kinetic analysis results showed that at below 1100?, main between graphite. With increasing, reacted generated from gasification When rate increased 0% 50%, activation energy 524.41 kJ/mol. Then, decreased increase rate. a multistep reaction. controlling step initial stage As proceeded, provided good condition for fayalite, nucleation growth metallic iron.

متن کاملSynthesis of HfB2 Powders by Carbothermal Reduction
In this research, solid state carbothermal synthesis of HfB2 Nano powders was investigated. For this purpose, HfO2,H3BO3, carbon active or phenolic resin were used as raw materials for carbothermal reaction. After 2-4 hours of milling the raw materials by a planetary ball in an ethanol media, the mixture was heat dried and pressed in to disks under pressure of 20-30 bar. The disks were then pla...

Interpolymer complexes (IPCs) formed between complimentary polymers in solution have shown a wide range of applications from drug delivery to biosensors. This work describes the combined use of isothermal titration calorimetry and surface plasmon resonance to investigate the thermodynamic and kinetic processes during hydrogen-bonded interpolymer complexation. Varied polymers that are commonly u...
